Studio Monthly Roundup - October 2024
Autumn is here and we have been busy! October’s been full of masterclasses and workshops and the client work ticking along. It also meant a few pipeline things falling to the beginning of next year, but it’s all balancing out well.
The Highs
👩🏽🏫 A sold out event for the Personal Branding workshop at Allbright. To say this was a pinch me moment is an underestimation. We had a wonderful, curious crowd and the room was buzzing with ideas. A true highlight of the month!
🌍 Being part of the Green Entrepreneurs Programme and being able to share my learnings on sustainable design, authentic branding and delivering a winning pitch for your purpose-led business. This programme is a collaboration between the incredible Art Clubbers foundation and Essex Council.
🔥 We are beyond happy with our studio location in Shoreditch and we’re taking advantage of that to have as much face to face time with our clients and collaborators. Nothing like meeting in person to get us out of our comfort zone!
The Lows
📊 We had a couple of projects on our pipeline that we were very much looking forward to, that got pushed to early next year. Budgets, pending investments, election uncertainty and as a small studio working with startups it’s really part of the game to have these things to happen.
💔 The floods in the South of Spain have been truly horrific and SO scary. Any climate change denier surely can see that the climate emergency is something you watch on your phone until it’s happening outside your door? This really makes the case for our support of green businesses and of people who actually want to make a positive impact in the world, as we really need to have hope. On the same note we LOVED seeing the icon Rosalia as part of the volunteering team in the region.
🤖 Whilst people see the benefits of having a fresh website with a lot of ease, it’s quite hard to quantify the ROI that you get on investing on your brand, especially as a boutique design agency. There is equity in brand value and we’re really keen to find a way of making everyone understand this.
Warmly,
The Ferrgood Studio Team
