Studio Monthly Roundup - November 2024

And just like that, November has flown by! This month has been a whirlwind of exciting developments and plenty of fire-fighting to keep things moving smoothly. Here’s a peek into the highs, the lows, and what’s next for us.

The Highs

  • 💻 We’re thrilled to be bringing the vision for Woofwolds to life with a new website! Woofwolds offers a bespoke, holistic service focused on every aspect of dog well-being—think walks, daycare, grooming, and wellness, all set in the stunning Cotswolds. Having already created their branding and assets, it’s incredibly rewarding to see this project evolve. Stay tuned for the big reveal!

  • ⭐️ Our founder, Teresa, has been busy collaborating with Adobe, participating in their Marketing Arcades events in Birmingham and London. These events showcased how Adobe Express can make content creation approachable and fun for small businesses. We love partnering with Adobe, whose mission to make creative tools accessible to everyone aligns perfectly with our values.

  • 📚 The first book cover we designed for Trigger Publishing has launched! Boys Don’t Cry, Girls Can’t Throw by Martin Nash dives into the hidden struggles of athletes like Tyson Fury, Ben Stokes, and Naomi Osaka, exploring the immense pressures of professional sports and offering coping strategies that resonate far beyond athletics. The launches, held at Libreria and The Gilded Acorn, were such a joy to attend.

The Lows

  • ⚖️ Work/Life Balance - The balance equation? Not quite right at the moment. Adding to the chaos, Teresa broke her elbow, which has slowed everything down. It’s a reminder of how crucial health is—and how much we take it for granted—until something goes wrong. On the bright side, it’s her left elbow, so the work (thankfully) continues.

  • 📊 Consistency in content creation remains a work in progress. We’re focused on creating valuable, high-quality output, and while it’s a learning curve, we’re excited to share some great blog posts and repurposed content soon.

  • 🗳️ Trump’s win feels like a major setback for both People and Planet, leaving us disheartened about the impact on global progress.

    Looking ahead 👀

December is usually our slowest month, but this year looks different. With plenty on our plates—new projects, refining workflows, and preparing for the year ahead—we’re closing out 2024 with determination and optimism.

    Warmly,
    The Ferrgood Studio Team
